I love all things plants. As a native of California, I have been blessed to spend much of my life in the great outdoors, and my appreciation for nature continues to grow. I focus on helping residential clients transform their landscapes into environments that are both beautiful and practical. In some cases, this means transforming water-loving yards into magnificent water-wise landscapes that provide an inviting environment for birds, butterflies, and other members of our ecosystem.

 

Too often people think that saving water means turning their yards into ugly hardscapes or boring rock piles. I love seeing my clients’ faces brighten when I show them how beautiful, colorful, and inviting natural dry-climate landscaping can be.

 

I keep abreast of the latest plant materials through my network of nurseries and growers. Not only will I help you select the right materials in the planning process, I’ll make sure those materials are sourced through the best growers to promote the health and longevity of your landscape. Finally, I’ll teach you how to care for your new outdoor paradise, so that what we create on paper becomes a lasting reality.

 

I find great joy in using my talents and knowledge as a landscape designer and horticultural consultant. When I’m not growing plants, I’m busy growing children (7 of them, in fact) and spending time with my husband and family enjoying the outdoors.
